Gold, silver, and platinum nanoparticles are well-known for their antimicrobial, anti-aging, and anti-inflammatory properties, and their beneficial action on certain cell types. Gold nanoparticles, for example, are widely used for delivering therapies due to their biocompatibility. However, various biologics used in cosmetics and medicine often lack effective penetration abilities. Miramistin, a powerful yet low-toxic antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral agent, is no longer patentable, which limits its market potential. We have demonstrated that combining platinum with other metals and cargo is toxic to cancer cells. The unique ability of cancer cells to accumulate nanoparticles further enhances their therapeutic action, including optical and thermal effects, offering a promising approach to cancer treatment.
Our nanoparticles provide the well-known benefits of noble metals for skin anti-aging, anti-inflammation, and anti-acne treatments. Their tunable sizes allow for efficient penetration of cosmetic products to the desired depth, improving effectiveness and user satisfaction.
Building on the success of our silver colloid products (Argumistin™), which have proven highly effective against a wide range of pathogens in domestic and livestock animals, our improved formulations will require smaller dosages, offer higher efficiency, and provide additional benefits not previously expected.
Our previous platform resulted in a highly efficacious product for increasing crop yields (Zerebra Agro™), with an average yield increase of 40% after treatment. The new platform offers similar applications with higher expected benefits due to synergistic metal combinations and added cargo. Our non-toxic and sustainable formulations are suitable for use in organic farming, providing a powerful tool to enhance crop yield and health without compromising safety and sustainability.
